Finance Analyst - Venture Capital

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our venture capital team in Bahrain. The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring startup investment opportunities, supporting the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

• Source and assess potential startup investments through deck reviews, sector mapping, and market trend analysis.
• Conduct due diligence, including financial statement analysis, business model evaluation, cap table review, and founder interviews.
• Build financial models, perform valuation analyses, and develop unit‑economics frameworks and growth projections for prospective targets.
• Monitor portfolio company performance, track key KPIs, assist with valuations, prepare portfolio reports, and support audit processes.
• Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to identify new investment opportunities aligned with the firm’s strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
