Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial operations of the subsidiary, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cost control, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations. This position works closely with the Group Finance team to align subsidiary performance with overall group objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and Bahrain regulations.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, delivering timely and accurate results.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses in collaboration with department heads.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure reliable reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly.
• Analyze operational costs, identify savings opportunities, and support capital‑expenditure decisions.
• Monitor working capital components—receivables, payables, and inventory—to optimise cash flow.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the subsidiary finance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management within a manufacturing or bottling environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a finance team and drive process improvements.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to present financial insights to senior management.
