Financial Analyst – Investment Research & Market Evaluation

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented finance professional to support financial analysis, investment research, and market evaluation. The role will involve interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and delivering clear insights to guide strategic and financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements, company performance, market data and industry trends.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, valuations and analytical reports.
• Conduct research on companies, industries, securities and investment opportunities.
• Monitor economic developments, market movements and relevant financial indicators.
• Evaluate investment opportunities based on performance, valuation and risk factors.
• Prepare investment research, company profiles, financial summaries and presentation materials.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and business performance analysis.
• Collect, validate and interpret financial and market information from reliable sources.
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, structured and commercially relevant manner.
• Collaborate with finance, investment, strategy and business teams on analytical projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Investment Management, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment principles, valuation concepts and market fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
