Front Desk Receptionist – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury environment. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, and a wide range of guest requests while maintaining the brand’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, register them, and manage room assignments, including VIP and repeat guests.
• Handle reservations, changes, cancellations, and special requests in the absence of reservations staff.
• Process guest check‑outs, cash transactions, foreign currency exchange, and post charges to accounts.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, key packets, safety deposit box procedures, and reconcile shift cash balances.
• Collaborate with Concierge, housekeeping, and other departments to coordinate luggage handling and fulfill guest needs.
• Address guest complaints, resolve issues promptly, and follow emergency procedures with professionalism.
• Perform night‑reception duties and assist with night audit procedures as required.

Required profile

• Previous front‑desk or front‑office experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work rotating shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and capacity to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a courteous and professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with OPERA (or equivalent) property management system.
• Cashiering and basic computer operation skills.
