General Cashier / Pay Master

About the role

The Paymaster / General Cashier will manage payroll processing and all cash transactions for the hotel, ensuring accuracy, security and compliance with financial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll for all hotel employees, including salaries, overtime, deductions and bonuses.
• Maintain payroll records and coordinate with People & Culture on attendance, leaves and final settlements.
• Receive, verify and record daily cash collections from all hotel outlets and prepare bank deposits.
• Maintain the general cashier float, petty cash and reconcile cash receipts with Front Office and F&B reports.
• Investigate and report any cash discrepancies and ensure strict adherence to internal control procedures.
• Assist in internal and external audits and safeguard all cash and financial documents.
• Prepare daily cash reports, support the Chief Accountant in financial reporting and maintain accurate transaction records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar hospitality finance role.
• Experience with payroll systems and cash handling.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems.
