Graphic Designer

About the role

Join IKEA’s visual communication team to inspire and surprise store visitors through strong visual impressions that highlight the IKEA home furnishing offer. You will help strengthen the IKEA brand and convert visitors into customers by ensuring store communication aligns with the IKEA visual and verbal identity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Com&In team and other store functions to maintain a unique and consistent IKEA identity in store communication.
• Plan, implement and evaluate store communication projects that showcase the benefits of the IKEA concept and enhance range presentation.
• Develop and execute communication strategies based on local market insights and shopping behaviour.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create action plans that drive business growth and profitability.
• Share best practices and guidelines within the network of store Graphic Communication Leaders.
• Maintain high standards of visual balance, quality, cost‑efficiency and sustainability in all communication materials.
• Stay updated on home‑furnishing, retail design and communication trends to support creative workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proven experience expressing brand identity visually, preferably in a fast‑moving retail environment.
• Commercial awareness with a strong eye for aesthetics.
• Customer‑focused mindset and ability to work on the shop floor with minimal disruption.
