Head of Lean & Business Transformation Strategy

About the role

The Head of Lean & Business Transformation Strategy will lead the Way of Working program at APM Terminals Bahrain, driving process standardisation, continuous improvement and the KBSP 2030 Growth Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Coach leaders and embed lean culture across the terminal.
• Coordinate local implementation of Way of Working elements, including process standardisation, Kaizen events and training.
• Drive the annual project plan and global improvement initiatives for APM Terminals Bahrain.
• Support the KBSP 2030 Growth Strategy, escalating decisions to senior leadership.
• Facilitate policy development, reporting on progress, risks and issues.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years in management consulting or transformation roles, preferably in the Middle East.
• 3‑5 years of program management or continuous improvement experience in logistics/terminal operations.
• Proven track‑record leading and developing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and change‑management skills.

Required skills

• Project Management certification.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge (preferred).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint (storytelling) and Excel modelling.
