Head of Wealth Management

About the role

The Head of Wealth Management will lead the bank’s wealth and private banking franchise, shaping strategy, product portfolio and customer experience for Private, VIP/VVIP and Priority Banking segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a wealth management strategy aligned with the bank’s retail banking goals.
• Design and enhance customer propositions for Private, VIP/VVIP and Priority Banking.
• Identify growth opportunities, partnerships and new wealth solutions to increase market share and profitability.
• Lead the development, enhancement and governance of Sharia‑compliant wealth products, including deposits, investments, Sukuk, financing, cards and premium banking solutions.
• Drive product pricing, profitability analysis and commercial performance, building business cases for new offerings.
• Maintain strong knowledge of local, regional and international investment markets and manage relationships with investment houses and fund managers.
• Develop customer segmentation models, cross‑selling and up‑selling strategies to grow wallet share.
• Establish first‑line governance, risk and regulatory compliance frameworks covering the full product and customer lifecycle.
• Review audit, risk and Sharia findings, implement remediation plans and ensure timely issue closure.
• Oversee end‑to‑end customer onboarding, KYC, AML and suitability processes.
• Set standards for Relationship Managers, driving productivity, portfolio growth and service excellence.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in wealth management or private banking.
• Deep understanding of Islamic banking and Sharia‑compliant wealth products.
• Strong track record in product development, pricing and profitability management.
• Extensive knowledge of local and international investment markets.
• Ability to build strategic partnerships with investment houses and fund managers.
• Solid expertise in governance, risk, regulatory compliance and audit remediation.
• Analytical mindset with experience in developing business cases and ROI assessments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
