About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Highschool Physics Teacher to deliver engaging physics lessons, prepare students for board examinations, and foster a safe laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver physics lessons aligned with the curriculum and board exam requirements.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and laboratory activities.
• Explain scientific concepts, theories, laws, and principles in a clear and engaging manner.
• Conduct practical experiments while ensuring laboratory safety procedures are followed.
• Assess student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
• Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into instruction.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events.
• Support extracurricular activities such as science clubs, competitions, and educational trips.
• Cover or duty arrangements as required and maintain responsibility for the classroom/laboratory.
• Uphold school policies, behavior management procedures, and maintain a professional teacher‑student relationship.
• Perform any other duties assigned by administration.
