Hostess - Greek / Mediterranean Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a warm, polished, and guest‑focused Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at our Greek/Mediterranean restaurant within Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. You will welcome visitors, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to the dining experience.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of VIP guests, special occasions, and reservation status.
• Communicate with the service team to ensure smooth table management.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Assist the restaurant team during busy periods to ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Hostess or in a guest‑facing role within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Warm, confident, and professional personality with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and welcoming in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional grooming and presentation.
