About the role
Raffles Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Hygiene Officer to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance across its luxury hospitality operations in Manama, Bahrain. The role involves overseeing kitchens, banqueting facilities, receiving areas, and bar operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct temperature audits and hygiene inspections in all food preparation and service areas.
- Maintain HACCP documentation, laboratory reports, and food safety records.
- Coordinate with health inspectors, manage water testing, and oversee food handler health screenings.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or Hospitality Management.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Hygiene Officer or Food Safety Executive, preferably in a five‑star hotel or fine‑dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP procedures, and hygiene standards.
