Intern - Fund Accountant

About the role

This 12‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in private markets, supporting real investment transactions, investor activity, financial reporting and operational processes. As a Deal‑by‑Deal Operations Intern you will work on private equity and real estate investment structures throughout their lifecycle, gaining exposure to complex multi‑entity environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the set‑up and maintenance of investment structures.
• Support acquisition and funding activities across multi‑entity deals.
• Record investor subscriptions, placements and capital movements.
• Perform cash matching, receivable management and transaction monitoring.
• Calculate fees, prepare accounting entries and aid investor reporting.
• Process distributions and manage return of capital activities.
• Handle asset issuance and maintain investor ownership records.
• Execute financial reconciliations and month‑end operational processes.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with interest in private equity and real estate investments.
• Willingness to engage in structured problem‑solving and data‑quality tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a global operations team.
