IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist

About the role

The IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist will support, secure, and maintain Burjline Builders' IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity applications. Working closely with the IT Infrastructure & Technology Manager, internal teams, SOC/CISO functions, and external service providers, the role ensures reliable operations, effective security controls, and timely issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs for LAN and WAN environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and perform regular maintenance, upgrades and patch management.
• Conduct capacity planning and manage IP telephony and voice communication systems across departments.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network and infrastructure issues, collaborating with other IT teams and end‑users.
• Support design, implementation and management of on‑premises servers, storage, networks and cloud services.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls and security policies.
• Monitor for security threats, identify vulnerabilities and respond to incidents in coordination with SOC and CISO teams.
• Manage and configure firewalls, switches and routers to maintain network security and efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams to address infrastructure needs and execute upgrades or migrations with minimal disruption.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of infrastructure configurations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to provide Tier 2/3 support for network and infrastructure problems.
• Experience working with SOC and CISO teams to remediate security gaps.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for performance monitoring and capacity planning.
