IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist

About the role

The role is responsible for supporting, securing, and maintaining the Group’s IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity applications. It works closely with the IT Infrastructure & Technology Manager, internal teams, SOC/CISO functions, and external service providers to ensure reliable operations, effective security controls, and timely resolution of infrastructure and security issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs for LAN and WAN environments.
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for network, infrastructure, and voice communication issues, including IP telephony.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, firewall rules, access controls, and respond to security incidents in coordination with SOC and CISO teams.
• Manage and maintain cloud services, on‑premises servers, storage, virtualization, and high‑availability environments.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, patching, secure configuration, and remediation evidence.
• Maintain documentation, inventory, and vendor relationships for infrastructure and security solutions.
• Support personal and mobile devices, smart ecosystem equipment, CCTV/ELV systems, and AV installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting network infrastructure, firewalls, and cloud security.
• Proven ability to work with SOC, CISO, auditors, and cross‑functional technical teams.

Required skills

• LAN/WAN design, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless networking.
• Firewalls, VPNs, high‑availability, load balancing, and network security policies.
• Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, MFA, privileged access management.
• Endpoint protection, email security, EDR, logging, and infrastructure hardening.
• Monitoring tools such as ManageEngine, SolarWinds, Nagios or equivalents.
• Backup monitoring, disaster recovery testing, and infrastructure resilience.
• Basic PowerShell or Python scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
