IT Support Engineer – Onsite Validation (Bahrain)

About the role

The IT Support Engineer will travel to a client site in Bahrain to perform a focused, two‑hour onsite validation of assigned IT equipment. Working closely with a remote support team, the engineer will confirm hardware status, network connectivity, and overall condition of the devices.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the site at the scheduled time and obtain required access.
• Physically verify each piece of IT equipment, confirming asset tags and labels.
• Inspect devices for visible damage and ensure power, network, and peripheral cables are correctly connected.
• Power on equipment (if needed) to confirm basic hardware functionality.
• Validate network connectivity and device status under remote team guidance.
• Capture clear photographs of equipment, cabling, and installation setup.
• Report any missing, damaged, or non‑functional components immediately.
• Coordinate with the remote team to complete all validation checks and obtain final confirmation before leaving.
