Java Developer (Banking & Microservices)

About the role

Mindsunited is seeking a Java Developer to join its Bahrain team, focusing on banking applications. The candidate will work on designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance Java services that support core financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Java applications using Java 8/11/14.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Integrate and manage messaging solutions such as IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust API management.
• Maintain and optimise relational database schemas and SQL scripts.
• Apply best practices for concurrency, multithreading, and performance tuning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Java development.
• Demonstrated experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles.
