Junior Photographer / Photo Editor (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Photographer / Photo Editor to join its pool of Non‑Key Experts for a 36‑month EU outreach project covering North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role will support DG MENA’s communication activities by creating high‑quality visual content for events, publications and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Capture high‑quality photographs during conferences, workshops, press events, official visits and other communication activities.
• Produce visual assets for websites, social media, publications and promotional materials.
• Edit, retouch and optimise images for both print and digital use.
• Manage image selection, cataloguing and archiving in line with project requirements.
• Ensure all visual content complies with EU branding, communication and copyright guidelines.
• Collaborate with communication teams to support storytelling and campaign objectives.
• Provide photographic coverage of high‑level institutional and stakeholder engagement events.

Required profile

• Professional training (or equivalent) in photography.
• Access to professional photography equipment.
• Proficiency in working English.
• Minimum two years general photography experience.
• At least one year of specific experience in press, event or corporate photography.
