Legal Specialist – Corporate & Regulatory Law

About the role

Alzayani Investments, a diversified group operating in industrial manufacturing, automotive, real estate, food & beverages and venture capital, is looking for a meticulous Legal Specialist to join its team in Manama, Bahrain. The role provides comprehensive legal support across the company’s business units, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to the legal department, including preparation and service of legal documents and case proceedings.
• Handle legal transactions with government authorities such as the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Land Registration Bureau, Traffic Directorate, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Notaries and Ministry of Health.
• Maintain and renew company commercial registrations, ensuring no violations.
• Draft, review and translate agreements, NDAs, MOUs, IDAs, AMC’s, board resolutions and powers of attorney.
• Conduct legal research, gather documents for trials, and prepare legal opinions and studies.
• Organise and maintain the legal library and case files, summarising case details for reference.
• Follow up major court cases with police stations, prosecution, and relevant ministries.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Directors and Legal Affairs Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a corporate legal department or reputable law firm, preferably with exposure to diverse industries.
• In‑depth knowledge of Bahraini corporate and commercial law.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation and communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Professionalism, integrity and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
