Logistics Manager – Operations & Distribution

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead the end‑to‑end flow of finished goods, overseeing storage, inbound and outbound shipments, and coordination with packing, transportation and customer service teams. This senior position ensures smooth operations, cost‑effective delivery and compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage the logistics department, including packaging, storage, transportation and customer service.
• Direct, optimise and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while monitoring for disruptions.
• Supervise, coach and monitor daily performance of the logistics workforce.
• Resolve transportation and import/export logistics issues and complaints.
• Analyse weekly finished‑goods levels and warehouse arrangement to maximise efficiency.
• Maintain appropriate storage conditions for sensitive materials.
• Proactively flag potential supply issues and propose solutions.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, clearing agents, project managers and customs.
• Implement a documented sign‑off process to protect product quality.
• Prepare regular reports and a 15‑day look‑ahead action plan.
• Review freight costs and collaborate with procurement for value‑for‑money delivery.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of logistics experience, preferably in an interior fit‑out contracting environment.
• Proven track record as a Logistics Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Experience negotiating freight contracts for imports and exports.
• Expert knowledge of export documentation.
