Manager – Accounts and Finance

About the role

The Manager – Accounts and Finance will lead financial planning, analysis and control functions for a fast‑growing retail business, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and long‑term financial planning aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct detailed P&L, cost‑control and profitability analysis, supporting pricing and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee month‑end close, reconciliations, management reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, retail and commercial teams to validate data, prepare dashboards and present actionable financial insights to senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering accuracy, discipline and high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; ACCA, CPA or CMA a plus.
• 6‑10 years of finance experience with proven progression in planning, reporting and controls within a retail or commercial environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
