Marketing and Communication Manager

About the role

The Marketing and Communication Manager will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to raise GDA’s visibility across the Gulf region and international markets. The role focuses on promoting GDA’s events, programs, and initiatives while strengthening the brand presence on digital platforms and supporting member engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual Marketing & Communications plan aligned with GDA’s strategic direction, including initiatives, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Monitor plan implementation, ensuring resources are available and effectively utilized.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns for annual gatherings, technical symposiums, exhibitions, webinars, and training courses.
• Manage GDA’s social media channels, website, and digital content to maximise outreach and engagement.
• Create marketing materials, press releases, event communications, and the quarterly newsletter in line with brand guidelines.
• Analyse marketing performance and provide regular reports to leadership.
• Maintain a centralized digital repository (e.g., SharePoint) for all marketing and communications assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong digital marketing expertise, including social media management, content creation, and campaign analytics.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and project‑management abilities.
• Experience in event marketing and coordination, both in‑person and online.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the Gulf region and internationally.
