Microsoft 365 Consultant

About the role

The Microsoft 365 Consultant helps organisations plan, implement, optimise and manage Microsoft 365 solutions that enable secure, efficient and collaborative digital workplaces. The role works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and end‑users to translate requirements into practical cloud‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing Microsoft 365 environments, identify improvement opportunities and design solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Configure tenants, manage users, groups, licensing, identity, access controls and security policies across Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive and related services.
• Support Microsoft Teams and SharePoint collaboration structures, permissions, document management and integration needs.
• Assist with Exchange Online administration, mailbox configuration, email security, migrations and retention policies.
• Drive security, governance and compliance initiatives, including MFA, Conditional Access, data protection and endpoint management.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate or other Microsoft automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform and its core cloud services.
• Experience translating technical requirements into practical Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
