Midwife – Comprehensive Maternity Care

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Midwife to provide comprehensive maternity care throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postnatal period. The role involves evidence‑based clinical practice, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and newborn care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
• Assist with labour and delivery, ensuring safe and high‑quality maternity care.
• Educate mothers and families on pregnancy, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver patient‑centered care.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Midwifery or Nursing with Midwifery qualification.
• Valid NHRA Midwife License or eligibility for NHRA licensing.
• Minimum 3–5 years recent Midwifery experience in a hospital or maternity setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Bahrain.

Required skills

• BLS certification.
• NRP certification (preferred).
• NHRA licensing compliance.
