Network Engineer

About the role

VAM Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support its Bahrain operations. The role focuses on designing, installing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, and fiber optic infrastructures for both commercial and residential environments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service requests and repair LAN, WAN, and fiber systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot network issues to minimize downtime.
• Install new equipment and cabling to expand network infrastructure.
• Test and evaluate new systems, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, technical drawings, and confidentiality of organizational information.
• Assess existing networks and propose improvements to prevent future problems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in networking, LAN/WAN, and fiber optic cable installation.
• Proficiency in reading technical charts and drawings.
• Experience with manufacturing, assembling, and wiring installations.
• Ability to follow legal safety regulations and work in commercial or residential settings.
