Network Security Specialist

About the role

The Network Security Specialist will monitor the implementation of the information security governance framework, oversee risk management and awareness initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor implementation of the information security governance framework and ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits for critical network components and IT applications.
• Review and maintain security documentation such as the Statement of Applicability, Organizational Context, and corporate policies.
• Lead corporate‑wide initiatives including encryption, PKI, intrusion detection, anti‑virus protection, firewall management, and disaster recovery.
• Track security incidents, analyze IDS and firewall logs, and coordinate remediation of anomalies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in network security or systems administration, preferably in a telecom environment.
• Experience with risk management, security governance, and audit processes.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP or CISA.
