Nominated Postholder – Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO)

About the role

Beond is establishing a Bahrain Air Operator Certificate and needs a Nominated Postholder for Continuing Airworthiness (CAMO) to lead certification, launch, and ongoing oversight of its Bahrain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft continuing airworthiness in line with Bahrain ANTR and BCAA requirements.
• Develop, control, and submit Aircraft Maintenance Programme(s) and reliability programmes for BCAA approval.
• Apply all relevant airworthiness directives and continuing‑airworthiness requirements.
• Establish and manage maintenance contracts, ensuring work is performed by approved organisations.
• Oversee scheduled maintenance, AD application, life‑limited‑part replacement, component inspections, and maintain technical records.
• Maintain valid Certificate of Airworthiness, Airworthiness Review Certificate, and Noise Certificate for each aircraft.
• Participate in drafting the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and implement the Safety Management System.

Required profile

• Relevant knowledge and experience in continuing airworthiness under Bahrain ANTR and BCAA CAMO regulations.
• Aircraft maintenance engineering qualification – Part‑66 licence or equivalent.
• Comprehensive understanding of CAME and approved maintenance programmes.
• Acceptable to BCAA after formal assessment.

Required skills

• Part‑66 licence (or equivalent aircraft maintenance engineering licence).
• Knowledge of Bahrain ANTR and BCAA CAMO requirements.
• Experience developing Aircraft Maintenance Programmes.
• Experience with Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
• Maintenance contract management.
• AD application and life‑limited‑part replacement procedures.
