Nominated Postholder – Flight Operations (Bahrain AOC)

About the role

Beond is establishing a Bahrain Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and seeks a senior professional to lead the development, certification and oversight of its Flight Operations function in Manama.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient flight operations in compliance with Bahrain ANTR and BCAA requirements.
• Define operational standards, safety policies, SOPs and issue the Operations Manual (Parts A‑C) and Cabin manuals.
• Develop the Flight Operations budget and manage support functions such as crew scheduling and operations control.
• Assess route and aerodrome selection, evaluate crew competency and coordinate with Ground Operations on new airport handling.
• Lead Crew Resource Management and implement the department Safety Management System (SMS) under the Safety Manager.

Required profile

• Valid flight crew licence (ATPL or CPL) with ratings appropriate to the AOC type.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in an aeronautical role under Bahrain CAR‑OPS / ORO.AOC.135.
• Practical expertise in aviation safety standards, safe operating practices and flight‑time‑limitation schemes.
• Thorough knowledge of Bahrain ANTR, BCAA requirements and Operations Manual structure.
• Must be acceptable to BCAA after formal assessment.
