Painter – Hotel Property Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join the maintenance team at our luxury hotel in Manama. The role involves applying paints, stains and finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces, ensuring the highest standards of appearance and durability.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, primers and sealers using brushes, spray guns or rollers to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by stripping, sanding, wire‑brushing, abrasive blasting or other methods.
• Cover and protect areas during painting and place appropriate signage.
• Clean, store and maintain painting tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to adjust colors and finishes as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Assist other maintenance staff as needed and follow brand colour standards.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, reporting hazards and completing required training.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school qualification.
• Minimum one year of painting or related maintenance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
