Policy Manager – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for a Policy Manager to lead the creation, implementation and continuous improvement of our organisational policies and governance frameworks. Working remotely, you will partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to translate business goals, regulatory requirements and industry best practices into clear, practical policies that support operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain organisational policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Lead policy development initiatives aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Research industry trends, assess policy impacts and monitor regulatory, legislative and industry changes.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify policy needs and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure policies are clear, consistent, effectively implemented and supported by training and communication programmes.
• Provide advisory support on policy interpretation and application, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Establish policy review processes, governance structures and documentation standards.
• Manage policy‑related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Business Administration, Governance, Compliance, Risk Management or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in policy development, governance, compliance, risk management or regulatory affairs.
• Strong research, analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent writing and documentation capabilities.
• Project management and leadership experience, with ability to handle complex initiatives.
• High attention to detail and commitment to governance excellence.
