Production Manager – Quarry, Asphalt & Aggregates

About the role

The Production Manager oversees all aspects of production, including quarry operations, asphalt production, aggregate supply, recycling, crushing, screening, raw material availability, plant performance, maintenance coordination, manpower planning and production scheduling across the Nass Asphalt portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall quarry, asphalt, crushing, screening, recycling and aggregate production operations.
• Ensure continuous availability of raw materials and finished products to meet project and customer requirements.
• Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
• Maximize plant and equipment utilization while minimizing downtime and production losses.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Manage manpower and equipment deployment across operations.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly production performance reports.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, resource shortages and supply risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate blasting activities in accordance with laws, permits and company HSE standards.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Sales and Commercial teams to align production priorities with project schedules.

Required profile

• Preferred degree or diploma in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering or Minerals Management Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a GCC country in a similar position.
• Strong communication, coordination and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with labour laws and business practices.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental management.

• Compensation split: approx. 40% office & facilities, 50% sites, 10% head office (flexible).
• Normal working conditions, 6 days a week (Saturday to Thursday).
