Project Manager – Treasury, Risk & Finance (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Treasury, Risk and Finance transformation initiatives for a leading banking client in the GCC region. The role focuses on end‑to‑end delivery of ALM, Quantum and Deal Tracker system upgrades while ensuring compliance with Basel III and IFRS 9.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for Treasury, ALM and Quantum system implementations across Bahrain, UAE and KSA.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, budgets, timelines and resource allocations.
• Establish governance frameworks, steering committees and reporting mechanisms.
• Manage senior stakeholders in Treasury, Risk, Finance, IT and external vendors.
• Identify, assess and mitigate regulatory, cross‑border and technical risks.
• Coordinate vendors, implementation partners and consultants to meet SLAs.
• Drive change management, training and user adoption for upgraded systems.
• Ensure quality through rigorous testing (UAT, SIT) and post‑implementation reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Treasury/ALM/Quantum implementations in GCC banks.
• Deep knowledge of Treasury domain, Basel III and IFRS 9 regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with FIS Quantum and related Treasury systems.
• Track record of managing multi‑country projects and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Strong budget, resource and risk management capabilities.
