Quality Controller

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Quality Controller to lead and improve quality standards across its interior fit‑out and joinery manufacturing operations in Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality systems, policies, procedures and manuals.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality systems on the shop‑floor.
• Identify potential quality lapses and take preventive measures.
• Establish testing criteria and standards in collaboration with the Production head.
• Define, manage and monitor all testing processes and resources.
• Conduct daily quality control floor audits and assess product conformity.
• Investigate quality deviations, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain standard quality plans and communicate audit results to management.
• Verify that procured materials meet defined standards.
• Liaise with purchase, production and setting‑out teams to ensure quality at each stage.
• Supervise the quality control team and monitor product timelines for timely testing.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in a shop‑fitting or joinery manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality Management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing procedures and common shop‑fitting materials (timber, boards, laminates, metal, hardware, acrylics).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multinational setting.
