Quality Coordinator (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

Amana Healthcare is opening its first facility in Bahrain, located in Al Jasra. The new world‑class hospital will deliver long‑term care and post‑acute rehabilitation services, supported by M42’s global healthcare network. The Quality Coordinator will lead quality improvement initiatives across the organisation for a six‑month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor quality improvement initiatives across departments to ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular quality audits, inspections and compliance reviews, supporting corrective and preventive actions.
• Collect, analyse and report quality indicators, KPIs and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Manage incident reporting, risk assessments and root‑cause analyses, ensuring timely investigation and follow‑up.
• Support accreditation and regulatory compliance activities, including preparation for surveys, audits and inspections.
• Develop, review and maintain quality‑related policies, procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate staff education and awareness programmes on quality, patient safety, infection control and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical departments to promote a culture of quality, patient safety and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Allied Health, Quality Management or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare quality, accreditation, patient safety or clinical operations.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality standards and accreditation requirements (e.g., NHRA, JCI, CARF, CBAHI or equivalent).
