Quantity Surveyor – 10+ Years Experience (GCC Preferred)

About the role

Consulting Engineers Group Ltd., an ISO‑accredited global consultancy with offices across India, the UK, the UAE and Africa, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support its infrastructure projects. The role focuses on highways and road works, with a preference for candidates who have GCC or Bahrain experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost estimates.
• Carry out quantity take‑off from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare tender and contract documents and evaluate contractor quotations.
• Assess variations, claims and contractor payments.
• Monitor project costs, prepare financial reports and review payment certificates.
• Coordinate with design, project and contract teams to ensure compliance with specifications and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Masters (preferred) or Bachelors in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation and contract administration for infrastructure projects.
• GCC/Bahrain experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Quantity take‑off and cost estimation.
• Tendering and contract administration.
• Familiarity with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and standard methods of measurement.
• Evaluation of variations, claims and contractor payments.
