Radiologist

About the role

Medstar Radiology & Diagnostic Center, a leading provider of advanced diagnostic imaging in Bahrain, is hiring a full-time, on-site Radiologist in Manama. The Radiologist interprets a wide range of imaging studies and provides clear, consultant-level reports to referring clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, Doppler and specialized musculoskeletal imaging studies.
• Review patient histories and ensure appropriate imaging protocols.
• Collaborate with technologists and other medical staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and case discussions.
• Communicate findings to healthcare providers and support accurate diagnoses.
• Adhere to safety standards and keep up to date with radiology practices and technology.

Required profile

• Relevant medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in Radiology; board certification or eligibility preferred.
• Valid medical license to practice Radiology, or eligibility for licensure in Bahrain.
• Strong foundation in medicine and radiology, with attention to detail and analytical, diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and commit to patient-centered care.
• Willingness to take part in ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Medical imaging modalities: MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, X-ray and Doppler.
• Experience or training in Nuclear Medicine and Mammography is highly beneficial.
