Reservation & Communication Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain is seeking a Reservation & Communication Manager to lead its reservation operations and guest communication. This senior position will ensure high‑quality service, drive revenue, and support the overall guest experience at the luxury resort.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee internal and external service delivery, quality, and commercial performance against Central Reservations KPI targets.
• Collaborate with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue opportunities and eliminate operational inefficiencies.
• Participate in reservation‑related meetings, providing insights on performance trends.
• Monitor automated reservation platforms to maintain optimal capacity and resolve service issues.
• Handle guest complaints, coordinating with relevant departments to deliver appropriate solutions.
• Plan and schedule training for new colleagues across the department and hotels.
• Manage people performance, including development, target setting, reviews, and coaching.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports for the Director of Reservations and Director of Revenue.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in a Reservations Manager or equivalent hospitality role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from an accredited university.
• Strong understanding of revenue management principles.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
• Proficiency in revenue management techniques.
