Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent is essential to delivering outstanding guest experiences for Mantis, a conservation‑focused hotel group. You will manage reservations across multiple channels, act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, and support the pre‑opening phase of new eco‑lodges.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest reservations via phone, email and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Serve as the communication hub, providing information on room availability, rates and hotel services.
• Enter reservation details into the Property Management System (PMS) and keep room inventory, rates and payment information up to date.
• Assist guests with special requests, answer questions and ensure a personalized stay.
• Coordinate with Sales, Front Desk and Housekeeping to align guest requests and room assignments.
• Improve reservation communication processes to boost guest satisfaction.
• Identify upselling opportunities for room categories, packages and promotions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• Previous experience in reservations, booking, or customer service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS).
