Retail Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, customer‑focused Retail Supervisor to lead daily store activities, motivate the retail team, and guarantee a high standard of service and store presentation. The role combines hands‑on supervision with operational oversight to drive sales and maintain efficient stock management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Lead, guide and motivate staff to meet sales and service targets.
• Assign tasks, monitor attendance and evaluate performance.
• Deliver excellent customer service, handling enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Oversee product displays, pricing, labeling and overall store standards.
• Assist with stock receiving, replenishment, inventory checks and control.
• Monitor POS transactions, cash handling and payment procedures.
• Train staff on customer service, product knowledge and store processes.
• Support promotions, product launches and other sales initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming store environment.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages or operational issues.
• Help the Store Manager with reports and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Retail, Business, Sales or a related field.
• Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, including shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems.
