Sales Engineer – Construction Solutions

About the role

Sika Gulf is looking for a technically skilled Sales Engineer to join its Bahrain team. The role blends technical expertise with sales acumen to promote Sika’s bonding, sealing and protection products to the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, architects and engineers.
• Provide technical support, prepare proposals, presentations and cost estimates.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads and achieve sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and customer feedback.
• Conduct site visits to ensure proper product application and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Chemical preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in construction or building‑materials sector.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM software.
