Sales Manager – Hotel Revenue Growth

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the hotel's sales strategy, creating and executing plans that drive revenue growth across all market segments. This role reports to senior hotel management and works closely with marketing, operations and guest services to maximise profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans, set achievable targets and monitor performance to increase hotel revenue.
• Identify process optimisation opportunities, adopt best practices and innovate sales approaches to stay ahead of competition.
• Prospect new and existing accounts through telephone outreach, on‑site visits, site inspections and written proposals.
• Direct all sales operations for the hotel, ensuring maximum revenue capture across all segments and distribution channels.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to grow market share and secure repeat business.
• Engage clients, understand their needs, deliver product demonstrations and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay informed on regional and international market developments and translate them into sales opportunities.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel’s services, facilities and competitive positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Hotel Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a comparable sales role within the hospitality industry, with a proven record of achieving revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of hotel features, benefits and competing properties in the market.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
