Secondary History Teacher – British Curriculum

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Secondary History Teacher to deliver the British National Curriculum to senior pupils in our Bahrain campus. The successful candidate will join a supportive, family‑oriented community that values British educational best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the British National Curriculum and Bahrain Ministry of Education requirements.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the house system (Buckingham, Windsor, Kensington, Westminster) to promote a positive learning environment.
• Mentor and support newly qualified staff as part of the school’s BSO/BSME programme.
• Participate in extracurricular and school‑wide activities that reinforce family values and community spirit.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or History.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience at secondary level.
• Familiarity with the British curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
