Senior Accountant – Division Finance Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can independently manage the finance function of a business division from day‑to‑day bookkeeping through to audit finalisation. The role sits at the intersection of finance and operations within a fast‑paced food & beverage environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle for the division, ensuring accurate month‑end close and audit readiness.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Implement and maintain strong cost‑control measures for local and imported purchases.
• Review supplier costing structures, improve margins and align menu pricing with actual costs.
• Identify waste, leakage and inefficiencies, then drive corrective actions.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit completion.
• Strengthen internal controls and promote financial discipline across the division.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in F&B, café, restaurant or retail food settings.
• Proven ability to manage a division’s finance function independently.
• Commercially aware, results‑driven and comfortable working with both local and international suppliers.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CMA are a plus but not mandatory.
