Senior Business Development Manager – Enterprise Banking & FinTech

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager based in Manama, Bahrain, to lead enterprise client engagement and expand our fintech product footprint across the GCC, Levant and North Africa. The role focuses on promoting our eMACH.ai architecture, Islamic & wholesale core banking solutions, and flagship enterprise AI platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive client awareness, proof‑of‑concepts and manage complex sales cycles for cloud‑native, micro‑services and API‑first enterprise AI workflows and AAOIFI‑compliant Islamic core banking.
• Build and deepen C‑level relationships (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital/Wholesale) within existing accounts and acquire new enterprise banking clients.
• Oversee recurring software license expansions, annual maintenance contracts, up‑selling and cross‑selling initiatives.
• Develop local consulting and SaaS partner networks, especially in high‑growth markets such as Egypt, to scale lead generation and win RFPs.
• Conduct regular market visits across Jordan, Egypt and Iraq to accelerate pipeline velocity and lead executive discovery workshops.

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven enterprise B2B sales or business development experience in banking software or fintech solutions.
• Strong understanding of core banking (conventional & Islamic), wholesale/corporate banking, and enterprise AI/analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated success closing enterprise software deals and managing key banking accounts in the Middle East & North Africa.
• Consultative selling expertise with the ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder decision processes.
