Senior District Sales Executive

About the role

The Senior District Sales Executive drives new customer revenue for Expeditors within an assigned territory. This role coordinates multiple internal resources to deliver logistics solutions and supports the growth of the district office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory, maintaining deep knowledge of potential customers and competitors.
• Enter timely data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Collaborate with regional product, service, geo, and knowledge‑management teams to create value‑added logistics solutions, including diagrams and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Support new‑account transitions, handling introductions, information transfer, paperwork, and occasional accounts‑receivable collection.
• Participate in local trade groups and attend training sessions to continuously develop sales and product knowledge.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven ability to meet customers off‑site regularly and build strong relationships.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and interpersonal abilities; self‑motivated in a fast‑changing environment.
• Extroverted, confident, persuasive, and able to influence others to action.
