Senior Estimation & Bidding Engineer – Architectural Composites

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Estimation & Bidding Engineer to join a globally recognised advanced composites manufacturer. The role focuses on complex architectural and façade projects, requiring precise technical‑commercial estimates and risk analysis across large‑scale installations.

Key responsibilities

• Review large and complex tender packages, extracting scope from drawings, BIM models, specifications and technical documents.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs and build accurate Excel‑based costing structures.
• Develop highly accurate technical‑commercial estimates and identify project risks, omissions, clashes and technical issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, sourcing, production and installation teams to support profitable project delivery.
• Work on projects such as architectural façades, composite cladding systems, FRP structures, pultruded systems, structural support frames and custom moulded components.

Required profile

• Exceptionally detail‑oriented with strong analytical and engineering mindset.
• Ability to work methodically under pressure and organise systematic bid processes.
• Desire for long‑term career development and stability in a technical construction environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for costing and data analysis.
• Proficiency with BIM environments and extraction tools.
• Experience using Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD and interpreting STEP models.
• Knowledge of FRP/composites, pultrusion, CNC fabrication and fire‑rated assemblies.
• Technical estimating, AI‑assisted estimating, automation tools and digital engineering workflows.
