Senior Field Service Engineer – Medical Devices

About the role

A leading medical device company is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer for its Bahrain office to install, maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment at customer sites. The role involves leading technical support across an assigned territory, ensuring service revenue and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment at customer sites.
• Lead technical support activities across an assigned territory.
• Resolve technical issues and customer complaints efficiently.
• Support service revenue through Service Agreements, preventive maintenance and spare parts.
• Coordinate installations, training and service resources.
• Maintain technical documentation, tools and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and calibrated.
• Mentor and support Service Engineers with technical repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor service performance and support the achievement of service targets.

Required profile

• Bahraini nationals preferred, due to nationalization requirements.
• Degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ field service experience within medical devices, healthcare or life sciences.
• Willingness to travel as needed for on‑site customer support.
• Driver's license required.
• Excellent Arabic and English language skills.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Bahrain.
