Senior Human Development Expert (EU Project)

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a Senior Human Development Expert to provide technical assistance for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project. The role focuses on enhancing human capital, education, employment and social policies, and strengthening institutional capacities in Egypt and the wider MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality technical assistance on human capital development, education and skills, and labour‑market policies.
• Prepare sector assessments, policy analyses, strategic papers and recommendations for EU‑funded actions.
• Support institutional capacity building and reform within public entities.
• Contribute to socio‑economic development initiatives aligned with EU‑Egypt partnership objectives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in development studies, economics, education, social or public policy, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in human development, education, employment or social policy.
• Proven experience preparing sector assessments, policy analyses and strategic recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of human capital and socio‑economic policy issues; experience in Egypt or the MENA region is highly desirable.
