Senior Manager of Digital E-Commerce

About the role

The Senior Manager of Digital E‑Commerce will lead the commercial growth and strategic direction of the organisation’s digital commerce function across the GCC region. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for shaping digital strategy, driving transformation initiatives and delivering sustainable revenue growth across online channels.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the overall e‑commerce strategy to accelerate revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition and retention.
• Own digital commerce performance and ensure alignment with broader commercial objectives.
• Partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to identify growth opportunities, improve customer experience and enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead strategic initiatives across digital platforms, online trading, marketplaces, loyalty, CRM and omnichannel customer engagement.
• Use customer insights, market trends and performance analytics to support strategic decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Champion innovation, automation and emerging technologies to strengthen commercial performance and future‑proof the digital business.
• Influence stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Technology to deliver key business initiatives.
• Contribute to long‑term business planning, digital transformation objectives and the evolution of the organisation’s omnichannel proposition.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading e‑commerce strategy and commercial growth in a retail or consumer‑focused environment.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Analytical mindset with experience using customer insights, market trends and performance data to drive decisions.
• Track record of championing innovation, automation and emerging digital technologies.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Technology teams.
