Senior Network Planner – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is expanding its global network and needs a Senior Network Planner to drive strategic growth. You will shape the subsea and data‑center strategy, work closely with partners, and ensure OCI’s network meets the demands of a rapidly scaling cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business‑development initiatives to evaluate and select optimal data‑center partners and locations.
• Negotiate connectivity agreements and commercial deals that satisfy technical requirements and support growth.
• Develop total‑cost‑of‑ownership (TCO) models for deal analysis in new and existing markets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align long‑term subsea strategy with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between OCI technical teams and subsea providers’ operations teams.
• Represent OCI to senior technical leaders and executives at partner companies.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of subsea partners and data‑center operators.
• Negotiate favorable terms, SLAs, and pricing structures with subsea providers.
• Stay informed about industry trends, mergers, acquisitions, and new market entrants.
• Document decisions and recommendations for internal technical leadership and senior executives.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional (IC4) with extensive experience in network planning and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record in business development, vendor management, and strategic partnership building.
• Strong analytical skills, including TCO modeling and market analysis.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global, cross‑functional teams.
