Senior Process Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Engineer will lead technical development and control of the Family Care Asset Tissue machine at the Askar mill. You will ensure the line operates at peak productivity, profitability, safety, environmental, health and safety (EHS) and quality standards while supporting the Operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and audit EHS practices to maintain a safe operating environment.
• Participate in design programs that uphold occupational health, EHS and environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, statutory requirements and regulatory standards.
• Monitor quality conformance, investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain quality specifications and the Centerline System to meet customer and machine capabilities.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality‑control program that reduces waste.
• Guarantee environmental design and operations comply with corporate and governmental standards.
• Provide technical support for projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives, applying new technologies.
• Apply LEAN Manufacturing tools to address root causes and set operational standards.
• Deliver engineering expertise to solve daily mill operating problems.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with extensive experience in process engineering for tissue or similar manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and quality‑control methodologies.
• Proven ability to work closely with operations teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Experience applying LEAN Manufacturing principles in an industrial setting.
